I agree JT; the reports of Carson Palmer's dimese have been greatly exaggerated. I have to laugh when I hear radio nimrods call him a bust . It's an obvious attempt to rile up listeners. And the national media bashing of Carson Palmer is short sighted and poorly researched. They're just echoing each other in an attempt to heard, and not scooped. Granted, he hasn't looked sharp, but he hasn't looked like Gus Frerotte either. I really think he's trying to force too many passes to keep his diva WR's appeased. The receivers aren't gaining much separation and the whole passing game is off a bit on timing routes. Defensive coordinators are scheming against predictable playcalling, as evidenced by the Pick 6 against Tampa Bay. That was fine call and execution by the defense. Palmer and his offensive mates obviously must execute better, and there is hope that it can happen based on their talent and relative health. Although the rest of the schedule looks difficult on paper, the talent level is similar. The Bengals may be outclassed in some of those games, but not outmanned. Palmer is a very good quarterback still. He just needs to start playing like one.
